MY STRENGTHS

Waterfront

I’m an SEQ & STA qualified swim teacher and RLSS lifeguard - I’ve loved swimming since I was little!

I’ve been teaching kids of all ages how to swim, get confident in the water, and actually enjoy it. It’s the best feeling seeing them go from nervous to buzzing because they’ve finally done it.

I also get to have a laugh with the kids and their parents - it makes every session fun. Helping people learn to swim and feel safe in the water feels really cool, and I’m proud that I get to do it.

I’ve got the following qualifications (click to download):

Climbing

I am a regular member of my local indoor climbing club, where I have been actively climbing for the past two years, alongside my dad and a few friends.

During this time, I’ve gained valuable experience across a variety of climbing routes and bouldering challenges, which has helped me to develop both my technical ability and my confidence on the wall.

Climbing is a sport I really enjoy, probably because of the mix of physical challenges and problem solving.

I like pushing myself to take on new technical routes and improve each time I climb. It's also a really good place to socialise and I find it quite relaxing.

Football

I have been playing soccer since the age of 7 and have consistently competed at a high standard, even being scouted in the past.

I have played for my local club, Milford Athletic and for Walton High School.

I love football for being part of a team. I enjoy the laughs that this brings and the bonding between friends and coaches.

As part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award, I also gained valuable coaching experience by helping to run training sessions for younger players. This gave me an insight into how rewarding it is to support and guide children as they learn and improve.

Athletics

I’m a keen runner - my dad’s been trying to get me to do races with him for years! I’ve run a lot of cross-country and represented Stafford and Cannock Athletics Club at winter events. My biggest challenge so far was with my dad at an Ultra X race in the Peak District, where I covered 17 miles and climbed over 3,200 ft - my longest (and toughest!) run yet.

Additional Sports

I also enjoy playing tennis and I play to a good standard at Walton Tennis Club. Additionally, I have played a lot of table tennis, as well as mountain biking and gymnastics.

About Me

My Family & Friends

I live in a small village called Little Haywood in Stafford (UK) with my mum, dad, and my younger brother Archie. Archie’s still at school and is completely obsessed with fishing and football - if he’s not at the lake, he’s kicking a ball around.

Both my parents work from home, my dad’s an IT director for a big US firm, and my mum works in insurance a few days a week. We’re a really outdoorsy family: my dad’s always off doing crazy long runs (and trying to drag me and my friends along), Archie’s usually out doing something, and my mum loves walking our dog.

We all love to travel too - we’ve been to places like Portugal, Menorca, Montenegro, France, and Poland. I’ve also been skiing in Canada (Calgary) with school, which was amazing - skiing’s one of my biggest passions, along with swimming, climbing, and football.

At home we’ve got Bonnie the dog and Drake the cat, and between them and all of us, there’s never a quiet moment!

Interests & Hobbies

My main hobbies are swimming, climbing, athletics and football, and I also have a huge passion for skiing.
One day I would love to travel to the US or Canada to work as a ski instructor. I’m also really passionate about music, and I have a strong love for animals and the outdoors.
I enjoy travelling and exploring new countries, especially being by the sea, and I love meeting new people and forming new friendships. At the same time, I have a really close-knit group of friends who mean a lot to me.
